Abstract: I will give a introduction to J.-C. Yoccoz work on the local connectivity of quadratic Julia sets. I will follow Milnor's exposition and give an overview over the proof of the local connectivity for connected Julia sets of an not renormalizable quadratic polynomial with two repelling fixed points.
